To combat signs of aging: RF therapy vs Microcurrent
What is RF therapy?
Radio Frequency is a type of energy measured in “frequency”, or wavelengths per second. This is in the same category as sound waves that your iPhone emits, sunlight, or wifi signals, classified as part of the “electromagnetic spectrum”.
Radio Frequency has produces heat so during a radio frequency treatment heat is applied to skin’s deeper layers to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin at the temperature of around 52 to 55 degrees celsius. Radio frequency facials are non-invasive, safe and painless. You should feel a gradual heating sensation that should be bearable, comfortable even for some. The cell turnover that is accelerated, like that in microcurrent facial take a few treatments to be seen with the naked eye but can be felt almost immediately after treatment.
What is Microcurrent therapy?
Microcurrent facial therapy uses a low level of electrical current that is similar to the body’s natural current. The direction of the microcurrent re-educate the facial muscles. Like RF therapy, it lifts sagging skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
